In a very short time (two weeks) after her father became a new member (see photo below), daughter Teresa Maahs followed. Teresa is a clarinetist, another section of the band where "You can't have too many..." Membership cards are presented by Ed Kille, Band President, assisted by Bev Williams, Recording Secretary.

Jim Johnson, Dave Maahs and Regina Sillitti are welcomed into the Hobo Band as new members on November 17, 2016. All three are saxophonists, and as one assistant director has said many times, "You can't have too many saxophones..."

Pat Smith is welcomed into voting membership and presented a Hobo Band membership card by Ed Kille, Band President, assisted by Bev Williams, Recording Secretary, on January 21, 2016. Pat is a percussionist and is noted for his consistent beat on the bass drum in all our parades.

Jim Livoti is welcomed into voting membership and presented a Hobo Band membership card by Bev Williams, secretary, and Ed Kille, Band President, at the regular Hobo Band rehearsal on August 20, 2015. Jim plays alto saxophone and is a retired Army Band member.

Lillian Parrish is welcomed into voting membership and presented a Hobo Band membership card by Ed Kille, Band President, on February 26, 2015. Lil plays the trumpet, and is the mother of Seth (trombone), who is a graduate of the Hobo Youth Band organization and has been playing with the "seniors" when not involved in high school band activities.

Two new members are welcomed into voting membership on August 14, 2014, and presented a Hobo Band membership card by Ed Kille, Band President, while Bev Williams, Corresponding Secretary, does the hand-off. Seth (trombone) is the son of Lil Parrish, who was later welcomed as a new member (see photo above). The other newly inducted member is Joe Alacqua, trumpet, who received membership simultaneously with Seth.

Caty Simons is welcomed into voting membership and presented a Hobo Band membership card by Ed Kille, Band President, in June 2014. Caty is the daughter of Hobo Laura Schultz (flute/piccolo), and has already earned a spot in Hobo history by becoming the youngest instrumentalist ever to have been voted into active membership.

At the rehearsal on December 20, 2012, Laura Schultz was voted into full membership status, and is welcomed by band president Ed Kille. Laura is an extraordinary flautist, and a band can't have too many flautists.
